“I have worked with Carrie in literally dozens of different fundraising and event-producing settings. I cannot give anyone a stronger recommendation. She is smart and creative - this is both obvious and important. She is also very energetic and outgoing, again terrific attributes that are necessary for an event planner. But she possesses two character traits that are not so common, and that make her exceptional: First, in producing complicated fundraising events, things can go wrong. Things outside of an organization or event planner’s control like weather, or the behavior of others. I have been in a very wide range of events with Carrie where, when things went wrong, she never got down. She stayed positive and productive in very stressful and difficult settings. Secondly, Carrie treats everyone with whom she interacts - from the highest net worth donors to the students, the clients and volunteers - with the same respect and dignity. No one will leave an event produced by Carrie without feeling like they mattered. I always felt like Carrie was not just producing a Harbor School or a Billion Oyster Project event, she was always a terrific representative of our community and the community we were trying to build."

“Hard to remember all the events and programs I have worked on with Nancy; but do know that none of them would have been as successful without her. We have worked together in small and large projects for more than twenty years. Her leadership and attention to all the small things has helped to create important events and wonderful memories. She helped our community usher in the new Millennium with organizing multiple town wide events, years in the making, for children and adults, and many still speak of them all these years later. I have counted on her many times since for charitable events, social events and several community events and programs that brought together people from all corners of town, often for the first time, helping to build community, with the singular purpose of turning our residents into neighbors.
She has an uncanny way of seeing details that others don’t and never fails to pull them all together to create a special occasion. I can’t imagine taking on any project without her guidance or input and believe that some of the richness of our community, and my place here, has her fingerprints on it.”
